A big thankyou to absolutely everyone at Fantasy for providing such excellent entertainment on a daily basis in particular last year 2025! We first heard of yourselves from Neil however you all gel together to make a brilliant, friendly team who us listeners can relate to. In my case it has not been an easy few years but hand on heart, each day is made much more fun listening to and feeling able to interact with your various shows, thankyou. Personally I appreciate a varied selection of genres which can be regularly heard on Fantasy. Long may you continue and thanks for 2025! Happy New Year from Rachel

Fantasy. Putting the “Community” in Community Radio.

I’ve now encountered two of my preferred Community Radio outfits who have dropped live presenters.

One in favour of churning out the dreadful “Auto Play elevator Musak” because the presenter was told “You play the wrong sort of music and read too many articles from the local paper”.

A breakfast show garnished with what the local crims have been about, residents opinions on happenings, snippets on businesses and so on. Gone then, are curated music and “Community interest” intel.

The other gang have replaced the lively WhatApp/email/SMS listener feedback with “Recorded Shows”. Yep. Streaming, with voices in between. Lose live, lose involvement.

Fantasy keeps the Community Radio flag hoisted to the top of the mast. Folk who turn in to do what they do because they want to, and are permitted to fall in with “Rex Bob Lowenstein” (Mark Germino) and “Last DJ” (Tom Petty).

Well done you guys.

Hi team, just wanted to say how much I rate this station. I live in Bristol and often visit my parents who live near Devizes. Great music, great DJs, the local ads, it's all great. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy the station and how nice it is when my car radio picks it up at Sandy Lane. It's rare to hear such a great selection of music. Keep doing a great job! (and maybe play a bit more Elvis!)

I am a Househusband & enjoy listening to Fantasy Radio in the background, 7 days a week. I can even tolerate the frequency repetitive nature of the advertisements. However, I take umbrage at poor English (whilst acknowledging different levels of education). I refer, in this instance, to the phrase "WHAT YEAR," when it should be "WHICH YEAR." Please would you rectify this? Thank you in anticipation of improving my listening pleasure.

for many years I was a radio 2 listener but the last year it just got so awful then I found Fantasy radio by chance. just brilliant! you playlist is remarkable. last week you played a Mountain track and Bob Dylan amongst so many other favourites. Almost every type of music is played on Fantasy by great contactable presenters but from my point of view something big is missing! I'm referring to a programme of rock and roll classics (songs and instrumentals) from the late 1950s to the early 60s which the station tried out a few years ago. Surely somebody on the radio can step forward to keep the Golden Age of rock n roll alive!

Fantasy have just the right blend of modern & classic music, to attract a wide range of listeners, with their ear to the ground on local events & attractions, with up-to_the-minute traffic news. I attend Go-Train appointments in the office opposite, so I was advised turn left not right or I'd end up "LIVE" on Fantasy Radio.

Alan Dee has done it again! In one show he has played Abba, early 60's rock n roll, 80's rock, disco and he fitted in a great piece of Ennio Morricone film music for Bev and myself. As Alan often says himself "good stuff"!

Alan Dee is my hero at the moment for having the guts to play classical music once a week on our great Fantasy pop and oldies station! Sorry to hear that his Friday afternoon show has finished but it would be good news if his successor has a 4.30pm slot, like Alan, but perhaps with some dramatic film music from the past if not classical.

Been listening to Fantasy for years and thought it was about time I wrote something here! Suffice it to say, Fantasy remains for me the most genuine and locally relevant radio station around. Professional programmes and friendly presenters, great chat and always SUPERB music. Today I’ve enjoyed everything from Steely Dan to Toyah, ABBA to Bruce Hornsby. I’ve taken part, had a song played and learned some top trivia with Biscuit Tim. Friendly, fun and FM (For Me)! Keep it up Fantastic Fantasy... brilliant stuff.

Hi Team, I'm a long term Radio listener, receiving that excellent education which could only have come from 60s and 70s Offshore Radio.

Fantasy, uniquely these days it would seem, reproduces that same perfect mix of a diverse playlist delivered by knowledgeable Presenters who speak to "The Listener" not listeners.

What a welcome change from those formulaic pseudo "Local Stations" (actually Networked Nationals) and other Community Radio efforts who try too hard to be "On Message" with a one-track "Modern Music" format for much of the time.

Don't change a thing, Team, Natural radio with hardly a track I'd object to all day and a delightful mix of promo jingles - Excellent!

You may think that as an ex presenter on Fantasy I'm biased but that is not the case. Now resident in Melbourne, Australia I still listen to Fantasy because, believe me, it knocks stations down here into a cocked hat so, if you're visiting Australia let me assure you you'll miss Fantasy.

Just wanted to say what a fab station Fantasy is!Ive been listening for around a year now,and the diversity of songs played is very refreshing!I just wish my work place played Fantasy!We have to listen to another station which is VERY boring!I also love the news and social news which keeps us up to date whats happening around Devizes which is very interesting and helpful.Thanks again,I'm spreading the word!lol :)
